Systems Engineering Fundamentals for Nuclear Fusion

The challenge of developing viable and economical power plants for Nuclear Fusion has eluded scientists and engineers for decades. This is largely due to engineering problems. Given the complexity of harnessing this vast source of power, applying Systems Engineering to its solution seems an obvious choice.

This course will allow you to discuss with confidence the challenge of Nuclear Fusion, to learn and practice the application of Systems Engineering methodologies. It provides Engineers and interested Scientists alike with valuable insight and know-how about structuring research and development projects, creating the required artefacts and delivering on time. The course includes an interactive workshop, in which the teams have to employ their newly gained understanding to a problem from Fusion.
